Room ethos

Here in the School room the children are provided with an environment of challenging & fun activities with the emphasis on freedom of choice. The staff incorporate all the skills within the EYFS framework that a child will need to enable a smooth and positive transition to school.

Activities

I can’t wait to get to nursery today! We have been learning about China because it is their Happy New Year on Friday!

We have been dressing up in costumes and made lanterns and me and my friends made a gigantic dragon… We all crawled inside it and danced around to real Chinese music!

The thing I’m most excited about is today we are actually going to China town in Manchester to meet real Chinese people and see there shops. We are also having a Chinese meal but I’m a bit worried about eating the rice with those chopsticks!

Anyhow, when I come back I can go on the computer and write my story about china town… I’ll try anyway
